Hi I’m Adam, lifestyle Portrait and Wedding Photographer of Raconteur Photography. Raconteur is a French word meaning ‘Storyteller’, to narrate, to relate a story. I tell your story through a selection of images, captured in a photojournalist and contemporary editorial style. I love capturing human connection, the connection with your family and friends that surround you, the connection with your partner who you will spend the rest of your life with and how beautiful you look and feel on the day you’ve dreamed about your whole life.
I am a Brisbane based wedding photographer, available for wedding photography on the Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Sunshine Coast along with destination wedding photography.


Photojournalist Wedding Photography
Photojournalist style photography started out with early news reporters capturing a story for editorial purposes, today this style of photography is closely used in wedding photography capturing the story, emotions and reactions as it happens, unobtrusively without the photographer manipulating the scene or subjects. This style of photography is closely related to reportage, documentary and candid wedding photography. You will find my style of photography reflects my personality. I'm not an in your face type person but rather choose to mill about with you and your guests capturing candid moments, around 70% of my coverage is this, not staged but rather capturing the emotion and feeling of your day.


Editorial Wedding Photography
Editorial wedding photography is a style of coverage that captures the love and intimacy of your bridal portraits in a way that reminisces something from a fashion or bridal magazine. Utilizing the locations and light, to tell the story of your love for one another. Indian Wedding Photography
I love capturing the colour, emotion and people of Indian and Asian wedding photography. It is nothing short of spectacular, with all the many traditions and ceremonies that are associated with Indian weddings. Destination Wedding Photography
My roots as a wedding photographer started in Europe in London where I captured some amazing weddings in and around London and Wales. And as you can see from my portfolio I love to travel. I would be honoured to be your destination wedding photographer whether it be Bali, Thailand or some other isolated destination. Destination wedding photography gives the bridal couple a unique opportunity to utilise myself as a photographer with no major time constraints and the beautiful surrounds of your destination, several photo shoots can be set up as lifestyle portrait shoots.
