Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine coast and Byron Bay Wedding Photography
My name is Adam and I document love stories.
I'm a Brisbane based wedding photographer that loves to travel, anywhere from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast and Byron Bay along with Destination Weddings.
A Defining Moment in My Photography
It came to me, searched me out and made me cry.
I was speaking to one of my brides months after the wedding about her day and she was saying how much her sister appreciated me capturing a few moments of her son at his happiest. I had captured a photo of him giving his Aunty a card on the wedding day along with a few of him and his cousins at the ceremony. Then the bomb shell came.
The bride proceeded to tell me about how his disease while they thought it was in remission had returned. He had refused to let anyone bath him or see him with his clothes off in the couple of weeks lead up to the wedding. After the wedding day he revealed the rash he was hiding. They asked him why? Why hadn't he said anything? Why hadn't he told anyone? His response was selfless and so grown up for an 8 year old child. "Because he didn't want to ruin his aunties wedding ". I cried for several minutes with Jenn telling me it's ok down the phone. I wanted to applaud this 8 year old beautiful boy who had more maturity than some adults, but words left me I was left speechless and a blubbering mess.
This is the kind of weddings I want to capture, I want to document real love, not made up fake look at the camera cheese type weddings, these are the stories I want to capture and the kind of people I want to have in front of my camera, thoughtful, caring and selfless.

Photojournalist Wedding Photography
Photojournalist style photography started out with early news reporters capturing a story for editorial purposes, today this style of photography is closely used in wedding photography capturing the story, emotions and reactions as it happens, unobtrusively without the photographer manipulating the scene or subjects. This style of photography is closely related to reportage, documentary and candid wedding photography. You will find my style of photography reflects my personality. I'm not an in your face type person but rather choose to mill about with you and your guests capturing candid moments, around 70% of my coverage is this, not staged but rather capturing the emotion and feeling of your day.
Destination Wedding Photography
My roots as a wedding photographer started in Europe in London where I captured some amazing weddings in and around London and Wales. And as you can see from my portfolio I love to travel.
I would be honoured to be your destination wedding photographer whether it be Bali, Thailand or some other isolated destination. I've had the privilege of documenting weddings in Adelaide and Newcastle and looking forward to more coming up.
Why pick me for your destination wedding?
Lets face it, if you've picked a destination for your wedding, it's for a reason, you love that location, you love to spend time there, that location attracts you and you want your memories to be attached to that location. As a destination wedding photographer I'm usually at your location for at least 2 days and I document the whole experience. It gives us the opportunity to utilise your location for a pre wedding or post wedding photo shoot.
I invite you to check out my portfolio and if you like my style, then don't hesitate to get in touch and tell me your plans.
