There was a massive storm on the Friday, the one that pretty much locked down Brisbane, isolated people from getting home, picking kids up from school, the next day though was wow! I can't believe there's not even a cloud in the sky. We had prepared for the worst and received beautiful sunshine. Saying that even if it were raining I don't think Marie would have cared only she really wanted her ceremony outside. Localised flooding at Gainsborough Greens meant we were restricted in how far we got to go from the club house, but I don't think that really mattered because of the light! Oh what light we got. Gainsborough Greens catches the most awesome afternoon light and the newly renovated Gainsborough Greens club house is a nice combination with a blank canvas to decorate the way you want.
Marie and Blair decorated their venue beautifully with soft colours and fresh flowers, they had personalised pens to write your advice for the couple with and my favourite the personalised bottle opener :) thank you guys :)
It was a full moon the evening Blair proposed to Marie on the beach on Stradbroke island and only fitting, that night a full moon made an appearance to watch their evening unfold into touching speeches in particular Blairs best man Matt seriously a unique and strong bond between those too that is tighter than two brothers, the partying and the general family happiness that was of these two families coming together.
I hope you enjoy this awesome wedding of Marie and Blair's at Gainsborough Greens Golf Club
