As she finished everyone stood up and applauded with tears in their eyes her words had struck a cord with everyone in the room. This beautiful 99 year old grandmother gave the speech of all speeches, she reflected on her own 75 year marriage to her late husband and the love they had was like a light, it wasn't always bright but always there and if you worked at it got brighter, marriage is something you have to work at making that light brighter. This speech truly reflected the people in the room, their honesty their welcomeness their ability to have so many close friends that truly appreciated each other's company this described Emma and Auki and their awesome wedding at the Marriott Hotel in Brisbane. Emma and Auki had a Catholic service at 'the church of the little flower' the same church Emma's parents got married at over 25 years ago. The priest talked about the questionnaire he had given them to fill out and how through their words alone he knew they were in love. I only had to look at their faces as Emma walked down the aisle to see the love and mutual admiration they had for each other, the high school sweet hearts. After the service and a few group photos a black Audi drove them separate to the bridal party, a little alone time on the way back to the Marriott Hotel. During the evening the beat of the drum and the rhythmic moves of a traditional South Pacific Islander dance mesmerised the crowd. This wedding was full of love, good friends and close family it was an absolute honour to document Emma and Auki Marriott Hotel Wedding, please enjoy their sneak peek.
