Stepping out of the car you're welcomed with a feeling of familiarity, a sense of quiet and a relaxed atmosphere that is 'the Mantra resort at Kingscliffe.' It felt like Noosa but it wasn't, it was the perfect location for Tom and Lauren's beachside wedding, a mini destination wedding with everyone traveling from all over Australia to join them.
Lauren's ring box was old and a little stained but it belonged to her grandmother, it had a little ribbon on it with "made for you" written on it. One of Lauren's good friends made her headpiece that she wore proudly and one of Tom's good mates from the Navy conducted their ceremony which made it that little bit more special to them both. Tom's nerves could clearly be seen, the afternoons sun beamed on to his face and lit him up when he turned to see Lauren and Lauren lost it as she walked down the hill to meet her groom. After the ceremony we walked down to the beach where we found a pocket of light that bathed Tom and Lauren for a few brief minutes. A truly beautiful moment between the two as they compose themselves after their ceremony and then the light was gone. Like every wedding day it's over before you know it. It was such an enjoyable wedding, Tom and Lauren are such a lovely couple, this could be seen by the group of beautiful friends and family they had chosen to join them on their wedding day.
I hope you enjoy just a few little moments from their relaxed beachside wedding at the Mantra Kingscliffe.
