The frustration of putting up an arbour that's not meant for a concrete pad but persevering any way because it's what Alisha wanted,
Being led around the gardens and shown all the hidden spots of Flaxton Grove by Alisha's flower girl
The look on Mark's face when he saw Alisha at the top of the stairs
The laughter of the wedding party at one tree hill
The speeches that talked about child hood adventures with a cow.
The way grandma was dragged on to the dance floor to rip it up and the smile on her face
The calm, that was a few minutes alone for Alisha and Mark out side towards the end of the night
These are just some of my favourite moments from Alisha and Mark's fun filled wedding at Flaxton Gardens.
Please enjoy a sneak peek from their wedding day.

Mark and I met back in high school, I was the new girl in grade 10 and we quickly became close friends. Along with half our bridal party. Over the next year we became more like best friends and before long a couple. The first thing I noticed about Mark was his smile, he was always so happy and friendly.
Mark and I were celebrating our seventh year anniversary on a cruise together, I kept telling myself it wouldn't happen and after a helicopter flight, a hike up a mountain with the most amazing views and lots of other amazing adventures throughout the cruise and still no ring I was now convinced. But then one day as the ship was heading back to Brisbane, Mark was acting strange, made dinner reservations at a nice restaurant on the ship and kept discussing how we should watch the sun set together before dinner. He even attempted to iron his shirt. We missed the sunset but ended up standing above the restaurant at the back of the ship because apparently we were too early, at this moment I knew what was about to happen because Mark had this look on his face I'd never seen before and after telling me I was beautiful he got down on one knee. Even though I kind of knew what he was about to do, I was still so shocked and pushed him haha. I said yes of course :)
Flaxton Gardens, it was the first place we agreed on as it was a good mix of what we both wanted. I wanted a rustic feel with amazing views while Mark was after a more traditional venue. We fell in love as we were shown around and the staff were so lovely. They talked us through the entire day and everything that was included which was very helpful in making our decision. We knew as soon as we left, that was were we were getting married :)
My favourite part of the day was when we both saw one another for the first time, I'll never forget the way Mark looked at me as I walked down the aisle.
A funny/unique moment for me was all day haha
I was so clumsy all day, tripping as I fell down the aisle, and was constantly stepping on my dress and if I wasn't Mark was, even in our first dance which was a bit embarrassing haha. But these are all the little moments I look back at and laugh about, made the day not too serious and gave everyone a bit of a laugh.
Another favourite part was when Adam took us outside to the Arbour for a quick photo during our reception, Mark and I took this opportunity to re attempt our first dance haha. We completely zoned out from everything that was happening around us and focused on one another, talking about our day and night so far, discussing how perfect everything was, all our favourite parts, our vows and just enjoyed having a laugh together. Was nice to have 10 minutes together just us two.
As Well as all the laughs, dancing and having a great time with all our guest and our bridal party. We felt so blessed to have all these amazing people around us. All the speeches were lovely and I think I cried throughout them all. We were so lucky to have such amazing vendors and we could not thank them all enough. The whole day was perfect, filled with so many different emotions and special movements from the moment we woke to the sparkler exit, we wouldn't change a thing.
Embrace every moment! Laugh as much as you can and as crazy as the day gets, take moments to just talk and laugh between one another, like no one else is there :)
